I received high quality care from arrival through departure. Arrived without an appointment due to a broken tooth which was extremely painful to the point of causing difficulty with speaking and swallowing. Receptionist was understanding without being patronising, patient with kindness. i was quite depressed on arrival (due to the tooth issue). Receptionist cared about my situation, she spoke with the dentist and got me sorted. Dentist was gentle with his care but also explained each step and options available. The charges were reasonable. This morning I had a treatment appointment with Dr. A. Patel at 10.00 AM. She welcomed me with a friendly smile at the scheduled time to the treatment room. She referred to the previous check-up when she explained the necessary work to be done. She asked me what was done since the last treatment and gave me the chance to share my explanations. Before starting the actual treatment, she explained to me what she was going to do and during the treatment she gave explanations too. Dr. A. Patel was calm and careful during the treatment and hummed a song which made the atmosphere relaxed. After the treatment she explained me what was done and how it should go further in a follow-up session. I had the feeling that Dr. A. Patel was not rushing, but she was taking the time to carry out the treatment as best as possible. Comparing to the many private and public dentists I have seen worldwide, I believe Dr. A. Patel is a fantastic professional and modern dentist that patients can trust and feel comfortable with. Dr. A Patel is a true asset to Lewisham Dental Practice.
